finally, the IVP for Singapore poly kicked off yesterday night 9pm..the first match was up against ngee ann poly..Great team with lots of friend in it i can say!! was kinda coach not putting me play cause the past 2 games i really did badly..he told me he got no confidence in me!! but didnt expect him to put me play in the second half..since the chance was there so i took it and performed well!!
at the moment i was into the game helping my team by scoring and assisting,he sub me out!!I'm not saying he sub me out is wrong..so continue read it..i thought i was out a few minutes of rest and he might sub me back into the game..but in fact NO, he did not..he placed me on the bench for quiet some time..in fact i was already warming down!! Then he suddenly sub me back into the game..its like starting you were so good and then you were out for some time so are you expecting me to play well like starting or what..i totally cannot get it..
So i get into the court, start from zero again..but this time round i played horribly..i mis-pass one ball and i nearly got turn over!! Just because of this 2 mistakes, i was den place back onto the bench!! but anyway, i did admit it was my mistake, so i went back to sit without regrets!!
at the end of the day, i look back at the match, i guess i did well as for my first game in IVP..at least better than rest of the matches in Poly-ITE..haha!! i scored 6 points, managed to did my defense well by doing help side and also containing the forwards from fast breaks..
By the way, in the end SP lost to NP all because of mistakes since the first match of Poly-ITE..Mistakes like over the back, mis-pass, lousy dribbling skills, mindset of challenging one on one and the attempt to steal/intercept opponent's ball insteading containing them!!
