2 games passed since PolyITE started!! Won one and Lost one...first we won Republic Poly and second we lost to Nanyang Poly!! Just only 2 games past and so much happened within the team..And it all started just yesterday, when we lost to Nanyang Poly!!
We were playing in a game which we should win..by the end of half time, we were leading about 10 till 15 points lead..and in the end, we lost 5 points!! Losing is already quite a disappointing feelin. Not only did the coach did not encourage us, he blamed us!! i'm not sayin blaming us is not correct but is the way he blamed us is wrong..although i did not took part in the game but seein him how he scolded and shouted at the players, it somehow really made an impact in me!! Is it really the player at fault if he really tried to defend someone who is so-called stronger?? is it the player at fault if he suddenly injured during the match?? What kind of irresponsible blame is that!! I was totally shock to hear those words coming out from an experienced coach!!
Anyway, after yesterdat incident, i was invited to a so-call basketball meeting whereby the person in charge is to announce something to us(basketballers)..Although it is still not comfirm but somehow i dunnoe whether i should be happy or disappointed..
i walked into the room and captain told me that he got a news that i would be happy about it..He told me maybe the player invoved in yesterday incident might be removed from the team!! After hearing that, i seriously did not felt happy because if he was really to be removed, the team will suffer!!Seriously the team might just suffer!! But on second thought i should be happy about it..because first i can get to play back the position i longed to play and secondly i dun have to bear with his childish and stupid behaviours!!I dun have to see this person in the team anymore..more peace in the team!!But seriously from a team point of view, we need him till the end of the tournament!! Some much consideration, really confusion!!
